About
The International Network of Tomorrow’s Leaders (INTL) Mentorship Program connects new professionals and seasoned leaders from coast to coast to coast. Throughout the eight‑month program, participants build meaningful professional relationships, deepen their understanding of international education in Canada, and engage in a supportive national network that fosters shared learning, reflection on sector challenges, and professional growth.
Eligibility:
- Mentees and mentors must be employed by a CBIE Member Institution.
- Mentors are experienced leaders who have been involved in international education for 5+ years.
- Mentees are emerging leaders who have been involved in international education for 5 years or less.
Program structure & obligations once admitted to the program:
- Mentors and mentees connect with each other once a month, for a total commitment of approximately 2–3 hours per month.
- Mentors must be an active participant by supporting their mentee through their professional and personal goals from April to November.
- Mentees must express their goals for the year, expectations of the mentorship program, and areas of interest for conversation with their mentor.
- Respond to a mid-term short survey.
- Respond to a program evaluation questionnaire once your commitment is finished.
Selection & Matching:
- National representation inclusive of geography, language and sector experience will be given priority in selecting program participants
- Matching will be conducted based on the responses within the mentor and mentee application
